Hmm. I'm a very boring person, but for some reason Ammon refuses to admit that. Let's see. I was born March 31st 1982, in Safford, Az, to R. Kirk and Jessica Lundell. I was the last child of 5. My siblings(in order of age) are Stephen, Nicole, Bryan, and Troy. My birth was a blessed event to all but my sister who was no longer the only girl. Due to being a few week early, I had under developed lungs. So shortly after my birth I was shipped to Tucson to a bigger hospital. I was named Penny(I say that it means “pearl”, but another meaning is “weaver”) Lundell (which is Swedish for grassy green valley. So I'm “pearl of the grassy green valley.”:D). I've been told that I was going to be named “Penelope”, but my dad saved me. Now Penelope is short for Penny. I don't really know anything more about my name. After being brought back to Thatcher, I proceeded to make life difficult for my family by: 1.Screaming until I passed out, and 2.basically being a holy terror. This lasted until I was three, when I noticed that my bother Bryan wanted to be the boss of my family, and therefore, me as well. This did not go over so well with me, as up to this point I was the ruler of my family. So then,we engaged in a battle that continued until I was about 17. Each of my family members have a different belief of when I became a human. Most think that after three I was a good child, but Nicole thinks that it was after I learned to enjoy reading, while Bryan and Troy think it was after they got home from their missions. As much as I dislike to admit it, I really was shaped by my fighting with Bryan and Troy (since they were my family's version of Laman and Lemuel, who are in the Book of Mormon). About kindergarten, was when I made my first friend. We soon were playing dress up and romping in and around our houses. In first grade, we completed our trio. There weren't many times that we away from each other. We were friends until Jr. High at which time I moved into a house across town from them. We had been around the corner from each other. Then I lost my friends. Across Thatcher is not that far, but it seemed that we worlds apart. We no longer were in the same ward at church or classes at school. We drifted apart. Then in 9th grade I met and became friends with Laura Williams and Stori Lauritzen(my sister-in-law). Through them I met my husband, Ammon Lauritzen, at the tender age of 15. He then proceeded to stalk me until I gave in and we started to hang out together as more than friends. He then left to go on his mission to Michigan to teach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to the people there. While he was gone I prayed to know if I should marry him or go looking for better prospects. Since I'm married to him, I'll let you figure out what my answer was. I attended Thatcher High until Junior year when with my friends, we went to a charter school, Life School. Not sure how much about life they taught me but with them I was able to go to EAC for the rest of my education. I graduated in 1999. I then went to Pima College where I studied to be a Dental Assistant. I have since worked at Southern Arizona Endodontics, with Dr. Dean Hauseman, supporting Ammon as he slowly get through school. I teach the Sunbeams(4 yr olds) at church. I have been in the Primary since we got married. I now have taught the whole Jr. Primary in the Camino Principal Ward. And that is all that I can say about my life. Penny
