Ok, I think I finally enjoy WSG.
Last night, I played several rounds with Zuraljinoo (go go random name generator!), my shiny new Troll Shaman (lvl 16 atm) on Silvermoon. Why a horde char? Why a different server? Well, Heather bullied me into it. I joined her guild and as a result am building my first PvP-spec char.
Go figure. I leveled Al to 60 on Sargeras, one of the original PvP servers. I engaged in a great bit of mindless slaughter long before the battlegrounds were launched. But I kind of soured to the whole idea when the honor system (1.4) landed and the game became unplayable for a few months. I moved him to Terenas (one of the original PvE servers) once paid transfers became available and haven’t looked back. When the cross-server battleground system finally happened (1.12), the BG waits ceased to be counted in hours and started being counted in minutes (or seconds if you’re on the right faction/server group 
). Al began playing the BG games again, and enjoying them. At least, he enjoyed AB and AV (loves me some Alterac Valley). WSG at lvl 60 for a non-pvp built hunter was kind of dumb.
Enter the shamadins.
With Zural, I started WSGing at lvl 14… and was effective (this is the lvl 10-19 bracket). I actually got kills and helped score points and figured out what was going on. At 16 now and with decent gear, Zural can flatten any caster he catches alone, and has a good chance one on one against anything else. He eats baby paladins for dinner. So… several wins later, he’s halfway to friendly with Warsong now, and is gonna see at least one (probably two) ranks on tuesday.

Kyan… she hated the PKings. Being the other char from Sargeras, and having just hit the tender age where it was impossible to level in safe zones… I don’t think she got a single HK before I transferred her over to Terenas too.
This afternoon, I decided to play some WSG with her (she’s 28, so is well leveled for the 20-29 division).
First game ever? She annihilated. Me happy. Took picture. Retribution FTW!
