Last night around 8:30, I headed out to Bianchi’s (one of the best places in town) to grab a pizza for dinner.

On my drive back, I started to watch the fireworks that various clubs and organizations were launching. And it was pretty.

Then the monsoon started up again, and the entire southeastern half of the sky lit up with purple and white arcs of electricity. And it was amazing.

For about 20-30 minutes, I had the indescribable experience of watching a very expensive and well organized fireworks show utterly and completely dwarfed by the real thing.
